By mimicking natural soil fungi, it builds a robust secondary root system, improves drought resilience, and boosts flowering and harvest yields—all while reducing the need for synthetic fertilizers. Ideal for gardeners seeking healthier, more vibrant acid-loving plants with minimal fuss. ## Description Product description Root Growth Ericoid Mycorrhizal Fungi are the product that ericoid plant growers have been waiting for. The normal root growth fungi have little or no benefit to ericoid plants as they are not present in the very poorly acidic soils in which these plants naturally grow. Many people have difficulty getting these plants established and ericoid root growth will become another valuable tool in the gardener's armoury. Like normal root growth, ericoid root growth should be applied to the planting hole in direct contact with the plant roots. One 200g bag is enough for 5 10-15 litre plants or 20 2 litre plants. For previously untreated plants that are struggling, root growth can be applied to the soil surface and gently worked in. Once established plants also have root growth Empathy Afterplant ericoid plant fertilizer with root growth to ensure your plants stay healthy for many years to come. The plant food is not recommended for use alone at planting as it may encourage too much foliage production at this time to damage the roots. Directions 7x (10ml) scoops per plant for a 10/15ltr pot, 4x (10ml) scoops per plant for a 5ltr pot, 16x (10ml) scoops per plant for a 50ltr pot, 12x (10ml) scoops per plant for a 25ltr pot, and 2x (10ml) scoops per plant for a 2ltr pot.
