It was strung with a ziptie along with colored lights. The back of the ornament (side which faces inward toward the home) cracked. It was not dropped nor did it swing and hit another ornament, light or structure. Noticed before Christmas that this ornament had a large gaping crack on it. Yes, we live in Wisconsin. However, it is rated for outside use and was in a protected area. Very disappointed. I purchased 3 ornaments that were about 3/4 the size of this one at a local home improvement store. All 3 of them cost less than this one. They are still in perfect condition and have been taken down and stored until next year. The top bulb is almost cracked in half with 3 large holes (or I’d just glue it back together). They are not shatterproof and make sure they are very securely hung.
