I had less appetite, and craved healhtier foods more. Also it had a calming effect. I was able to drink a few beers a week with nicotinamide at this does and not feel any negative effects (for me that 5 beers total in 1 week, 1-2 per day, three days a week). So for me personally, nicotinamide is good for overall health. I like the skin benefits, mood calming, the feeling of liking healthier foods more, and appetite suppressant effects. In the near future I will likely reduce my 400mg per day to 100mg a day to see if it still has a similar effect, and then likely will move it up to 200mg per day. Of course , they can't say that on the bottle or in their advertising. It was recommended by a well known online doctor so I thought I would try it. Low dose 3 x daily. After only a week my knee pain disappeared after a year of limping and misery. I can't guarantee that it will work for your problem but it's worth a try.
