It needed a serious remodel and a “new everything”.So a new running light was on the menu, and I wanted one in black and came across this. Which led to my next big ask… space saving. Since my boat is so small, I storage is really tight and I needed something that could be stored easily and readily, and also be ready to go when darkness falls. So I decided to try this out.And it fit the bill perfectly. Weight is also an issue on such a small boat, and this is super light weight. It’s sturdy and it stores easily in a smaller compartment.And the light, once extended goes over my head and any passengers heads while seated and then some. So any and all boats can easily see us with no worries about line of sight being obstructed.Installed it. Used it. And never gave it another thought. It opens and collapses easily, and pops right in to the included port. I actually purchased a separate port because I wasn’t aware this came with one- but it does. So don’t order one. It’s everything you need all in one purchase (I kept the one I ordered as back up in case the one included ever needs replacing from damage).All in all, no complaints.
