## Description

Increase your carrying capacity with the Apex universal aluminum truck rack. Designed for carrying long, bulky equipment like ladders, pipes, and lumber, this truck rack can hold up to 800 pounds. The fully adjustable crossbars fit most pickup truck models, and uses a no-drill clamp system for easy installation. Built with high-strength aluminum this truck rack weight almost 50 percent less than comparable steel models without sacrificing load weight. The truck rack securely attaches to bed rails using a patented clamp system which requires no drilling. With several anchor points for securing tie-down straps, you can safely haul cargo and equipment for work and play.

Review: Excellent quality - The quality of this rack is amazing. Its heavy duty aluminum, precisely machined to fit well together, all hardware is cadmium plated and every nut is a lock nut. They didn't cut any corners on this. It's very light but strong and adjusts to fit almost any pickup.
Review: It will break. - I bought this product six months ago. To start the thing makes horrible noise down the road which isn’t great. Under assembly the bars that run from the front to the back their holes didn’t line up because the cuts weren’t even. Here’s the big one, all four welds on the top of the vertical supports have or are failing. One completely broke through. They have this product rates at 800lbs maybe, MAYBE I had 500lbs on it for about five miles. The rest of the time i use it to carry 1-3 ladders 200lbs max. For it to completely fail in six months with use well below its rated capacity is completely unacceptable especially since this is one of the more expensive racks on desertcart. I called the company and the woman that I talked to on the phone was rather short and just kept telling me to talk to desertcart talk to desertcart because I bought it directly from desertcart not understanding that it’s not about just returning the item is a warranty issue and a quality issue that wanna talk to the company. So desertcart refunded most of my money minus a $75 restocking fee what they’re going to restock I’m not sure since the thing is completely failed and no good to anyone. So now I’m waiting for a callback from the company to get that $75 from them because this thing is junk. In the meantime I have to disassemble this thing and pack it up and ship it back to desertcart. The worst thing is that the cracks were so hard to see that I didn’t notice them. It only drew my attention when I noticed the ladders moving in my rear view one day and I check to see if they were loose and the whole rack swayed back and forth. Imagine what would have happened if that would have fell off on the highway. Lastly the little plastic caps on the ends fall out so glue them on before you throw this thing in the garbage.

I bought this product six months ago. To start the thing makes horrible noise down the road which isn’t great.
