## Overview

The Heavy Duty Hexagonal Post Mounted Dovecote is a robust and stylish solution for housing up to 6 pairs of doves. With dimensions of 66 x 73 x 113 cm and a weight of 18 kg, this wooden dovecote is designed for easy installation on a 3-inch square fence post, ensuring a secure and lasting home for your birds.

## Description

This hexagonal dovecote is currently the largest in our range and is intended for mounting on a post. Measuring 43" high and 24" wide, it has two floors each divided into two compartments. The arched openings have external shelves supported by shaped brackets. Suitable for mounting on a 3" x 3" post (not included) which fits through the lower floor into a socket on the underside of the first floor making for a very secure fixing. It is constructed using tongue and groove v jointed external cladding, glued and nailed with mitred corners and fixed to treated timber battens. Floors and internal partitions are 12mm waterproof bonded ply. The roof is under felted, finished with treated feather edged timber and topped with a treated timber finial. Finally it has been externally finished with knotting, primer, two undercoats and two coats of white gloss. This item may vary slightly from the photograph as it is a handmade product.
