My standard oven doesn’t give enough bottom heat, and I wanted a way to crisp the crust without burning the top. This steel does exactly that! This thing is heavy, and that’s a good thing. It’s solid steel, smooth, clean, and professional-looking. The quality is obvious the moment you open the box. On the first use, I got a golden, crispy crust and perfectly melted cheese. It cooks faster, which helps avoid overbaking the top. The size of my pizza is is limited by the size of my pizza peel. But that being said, if it's perfectly on this pizza steel. Moreover, the pizza steel itself fit in all three ovens I tried. Great balance of surface area without being oversized. It discolors slightly with use (normal), but it’s easy to clean. I just leave it in the oven full-time and don't have to worry about taking it in and out. Bottom line: This is a must-have tool if you’re serious about pizza night. Solid construction, great results, and totally worth the investment. I’ll be using it for a long time to come.

I bought this pizza steel to take my homemade pizza to the next level. My standard oven doesn’t give enough bottom heat, and I wanted a way to crisp the crust without burning the top. This steel does exactly that! This thing is heavy, and that’s a good thing. It’s solid steel, smooth, clean, and professional-looking. The quality is obvious the moment you open the box. On the first use, I got a golden, crispy crust and perfectly melted cheese. It cooks faster, which helps avoid overbaking the top. The size of my pizza is is limited by the size of my pizza peel. But that being said, if it's perfectly on this pizza steel. Moreover, the pizza steel itself fit in all three ovens I tried. Great balance of surface area without being oversized. What is this weird glue pattern? It seems like half of the reviews end up with this weird patterns this was clearly a repackaged steel that someone was unsatisfied with…you can clearly see one side has been taped
