We have systems to play these games at our home, but when he travels for work this is a nice little handheld unit for travel. We have not had any issues with the unit functioning so far ( had for approximately a month of consistent gaming) but beware there are repeats of games and some instructions/names in Chinese. It has worked very well, handheld device is surprisingly light and has access to 416 games. So far, he has mostly focused on the original MARIO Bros game, but there are lots to choose from.
