So to me it’s not fast it’s just right. It provides a nice stress free clean for myself and my betta fish. I love that it doesn’t cloud up my water. It is a really nice product and I love it. I bought the 7ft one. I will say that I do have a siphon vacuum one. But because it causes cloudiness I can’t see where I am cleaning so I use a motor vacuum one for putting new water in and I use this manual siphon for changing water out and cleaning the sand in the tank. So if you need an idea for a way to make changing water easier I use this product along with a motor vacuum and both work great! 5/5 (also I don’t use the vacuum one for changing water out because the sand can get stuck in the motor and that was frustrating that’s why I use this one) thank you!
