I'm a beginner, and though I found the instructions lacking, the online video was helpful. Once you get the hang of the basic knots it's really pretty simple. I wish the product information let you know it would make 2 planters at the size instructed, because then I would have known to save some of the beads for a second one. As it is, I used them all on one, and I think it's a bit overcrowded at the top and would look nicer with less... and then I'd have some for a second hanger. Oh well.
