Regarding the negative reviews, they may have had the previous version which didn't have a fully enclosed shell and was a harder plastic liable to break or they were looking for something else. If you want the most slimline case get a silicon sleeve and pair it with a SP. You can opt for cases half the price but this is probably 4 times as good and built to last. The previous one lasted 2 years and that was a poorer model. They are constantly improving the design unlike some other rival brands whose items are way poorer than they once were. It complements the iPad perfectly and I have had many compliments.
