The consistency is fine, but the taste is overly sweet and lacks the deep, savory notes I expect from good teriyaki sauce. It also has a slightly artificial aftertaste that I didn’t enjoy. I tried using it for stir-fries and as a marinade, but it didn’t enhance the dishes much. Even when I mixed it with other ingredients, the flavor just felt flat. For the price, I expected something closer to a restaurant-quality sauce.
