**Q: Why are the B vitamins so high? 1500mcg of methylfolate for a child seems really high.**
A: Hi...thanks for reaching out!  We purposely put that much vitamin B's in because they are so important for detox, nerve health, and neurotransmitter production.  They are water soluble so there is no danger in the amount that is in them!

**Q: Why does this say Gluten Free but then have a warning about wheat in it?!**
A: It is produced in a plant that also produces other wheat products but it is 3rd party tested after every batch for gluten!

**Q: What is the source of the collagen?  If bovine, is it grass fed?**
A: The source is grass-fed bovine collagen!

As a Registered Dietitian and my husband who’s a Chiropractor we are always looking for healthy options to get protein into our children who are 3 and 4 years old. We have struggled trying to find healthy options that our kids would eat that are hypoallergenic to not cause any GI inflammation as health starts in the Gut. The fact that its gluten, dairy, soy and grain free is awesome as well as being GMO-free and organic ensures nothing but the highest quality ingredients. The forms of vitamins they are ensure the highest bioavailability and the added digestive enzymes makes it easy to digest. Add all these healthy benefits with the great taste that our kids love makes it a perfect option for our children. We have tried several other shakes on the market and it had been like pulling teeth to get the kids to take it but not Bare Necessities, they simply love it!

My daughter had surgery on her scalp and I wanted to help with the healing and hair growth. I am so glad I found this protein shake because it is all natural and even has collagen. It helped with healing and her hair is growing back nicely. Even before her surgery I always had a hard time getting her to eat breakfast. Now I mix a big batch of this with almond milk and heavy whipped cream and she has a protein shake for breakfast before school! The HWC helps with the taste and adds good fats! I just wish it wasn't so expensive...but you get what you pay for and this is an excellent product.TIP: If you have a Nutri-ninja it's best to mix it up in that to prevent clumps.
