Will it hold both and is there an attachment I can use to hold both? Thanks** A: No problem at all weight-wise : these units are strong. But you only have one option/ thread re fixing. I would secure your video mic to your camera's hot shoe so the two are one unit. A threaded spigot comes with the wall mount which should enable camera mounting and certain amount of adjustment. **Q: would it be okay to attach a DSLR camera to this mount? doesn't say what the max weight capacity is.** A: I use one to mount a canon 5DIII with battery grip, teleprompter and iPad. It's very safe. I use a remote control to shoot though as it "bounces" when touched. Great for video. **Q: What are the height and width measurements of the base mounting plate?** A: I just measured mine for you. the base plate is 30cms by 14cms (11 3/4 inches by 5 1/2 inches). Do you have all dimens?** A: I have two of these booms mounted on the walls of my garden office. I work in the media and during lockdown was when required greenscreening from the office. Lighting stands proved totally impractical so I bought these. In terms of rough dimensions: The back plate is 30cm high by 14cm wide. They are hinged so that you can traverse them left to right and there are two positions in which you fit the arms. In my case I have them set up so that when not in use I can push them up above head height. If you want them to push flush to the wall when not in use, you will have to experiment a bit but it shouldn't be difficult. I have been using them for three years. They are very robust and stable. You just need to make sure that you secure them well to the wall. My office is a log cabin so I used good size wood screws. Cameras set up straight away every time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Throw away those mounting bolts! *by T***Y on 15 May 2020* Brilliant piece of kit but don't make the mistake I made, don't drill holes in your wall to use the included bolts, they will not work on plasterboard and they will get stuck in the holes but will never grip, Instead buy a pack of 5mm screw width Wingspring or Anchor plug bolts (I've ordered a mixbag of Anchor plugs). My only other complaint is that the thread only just grips my rode mic shock mount as it has a wide piece but once you get it in it holds well.
