I bought them last year when jars were scarce for making jam and water bath canning. I actually used them this week. Nothing about these jars is user friendly. The lids and rings don't screw down right. Nothing seals with this jars, in fact I had lids and rings come off in the water. I am not a novice at canning. First time in my life I got jar after jar that didn't seal. If you want these for anything else they would probably be good.
