However in my case I wished to hook up more than just the shield, which this doesn't make easy. Either way it's a good product if you just wish for the touchscreen alone, no speakers or anything else, really good for prototyping ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well, but almost no documentation *by M***T on January 19, 2019* First, I'm not using this with an Arduino. I'm using it with an FPGA, so I expected to do more than the usual amount of design work to get this display working. I was quite disappointed with the documentation, given that the description said it included full library and supports. Microyum has very little documentation on its website, but it has links to other (competitor?) sites that have examples. These included an interface example and some libraries for drawing graphics. The actual interface example was somewhat generic and the author noted that he had not tested it with the controller built into this product (RM68140).Here is some information that others users may find helpful:The controller is the Raydium RM68140. You'll need to search for a data sheet for it.The touch screen shares pins D7, D6, WR and RS with the display.The touch screen is 300 ohm from D7 to WR and 700 ohm from D6 to RS.The RM68140 data sheet claims a write cycle time of 50 ns, but the fastest I could get to work reliably was 175 ns.The colors are somewhat washed out when the screen is viewed straight on. It's better when viewed at about a 30 degree angle. There may be a voltage adjustment that could improve the color, but I haven't experimented with that. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Very good monitor no USB connection *by A***R on September 29, 2018* I am using this in a basic ardiuno and was a bit tricked by the image. It does not plugin via USB and only through the ardiuno pins.
