Does not require an undercoat except where a strong colour change is required. Suitable for use on interior wood and metal surfaces.Application Description Application: Brush or roller only. For Health and Safety reason related to all solvent-based paints, spray application is not recommended. STIR THOROUGHLY BEFORE USE. The normal finishing process is 2 full coats of Dulux Trade Satinwood. However, where a strong colour change is required, then a coat of an appropriate coloured Dulux Trade Undercoat may be necessary. Whilst leading-edge technology has been used in the development of this product, the nature of white solvent-based paints means that they will all discolour over time. The rate of discolouration is faster on areas with no or low natural or UV light. For long-lasting whiteness, we recommend the use of a water-based formulation such as Dulux Trade Quick Dry Satinwood. The surface can be degreased with methylated spirits by cloth roughly 30 minutes before painting to ensure no contamination on the surface. It will certainly work. **Q: Can I used to paint over my skirts, that are already painted with oil based glossy years before, but now a bit yellow.** A: Yes, just give old skirting a clean leave to dry and paint over. **Q: can you paint radiators with it** A: Short answer Yes. Satinwood is normally applied two full coats of Satinwood. However, I've found that you can apply undercoat and one top coat of Satinwood if you wish.
