It is just unique out there. Both sticks worked perfectly no issues, it comes with a polishing cloth for fingerprints. If you don't remove the plastic film until after you install it You can avoid fingerprints altogether I just pointed off after it's inserted. But yes you will pay a premium, but if you're going to spend that much money on a fish tank case to look at your motherboard, I say go big or go home. The diamond cut housing for the RGB just adds that extra little flare.
