They taste a *little* bit funny (but so do caffeine gels) and the mint flavour overpowers any caffeine taste after a short while. Having bought them I did wonder whether I should have just stuck to caffeine gels and killed two birds with one stone, but the bullets are excellent when you need a lift but feel a bit gel-sick. I stuck one in the inside of my cheek during a race and just let it gradually dissolve - provided a reall valuable lift. Loss of one star as the wrappers are quite hard to open, but thats a minor thing. Definitely worth a try.
