Long story short it just didn't work out for me. So I left it in my drawer, full of holsters that will never be used and I had a moment of clarity. I figured out what it would be good for! I decided to use it as a clip for a spare mag. It would be clipped to my pocket and all it required was a 3/32 drill bit and the nerve to put two holes my mag equipped with the Vickers plus two mag extension, and walla! The pictures speak for themselves! If you have 5 mins and a drill you too can have this set up. Just few a things to consider with this set up is, that the spare mag once inserted won't drop freely when pressing the magazine release do to the tension applied to the side of your pistol from the clip, meaning you'll have to give it a light pull while pressing the magizine release. But sense it's a spare mag and I don't see most people carrying a third unless your using this for your job then I don't see it being a big deal. Also over time it might start making slight marks on your pistol as it is metal dragging against polymer. To stop this from happening, I recommend using Hogue grip. They are made of durable rubber and will protect the pistol from scratches as well as give you a better purchase on the pistol itself. Also did I mention the grip is only 7.96 on desertcart? So it's a fairly cheap upgrade to save some marking on your pistol, especially if you wanna keep the sell value up. I wear one every day, and I have broke the clip off a few times by snagging it. I just left the old plate on there a screwed a new clip on. I have noticed the strong side screw was loose last time I did this even with the lock washers on there, so I put a drop of loctite this time. But yes, see below, just take the factory rear slide plate off and install the plate that comes with it. It has two tapped screw holes that the clip screws into. **Q: Does this cover the chamber loaded indicator on the back of the slide?** A: If you mount on right hand side then yes the clip will extend and partially block the indicator. If this is an issue for you then you can work around it by using the clip on the left hand side. you could also use our universal Clipdraw for semi autos. Clip makes gun secure in the waist band ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great concealed carry option for the Glock 43 *by L***5 on 24 February 2017* The Clipdraw gun clip for the Glock 43 is quite nice. The replacement rear slide cover fits snugly in the rear of the slide, and the clip secures to it firmly. The clip itself is spring steel and strong. Installation is very easy and the clip comes with good directions. You only need to provide a small flat head screwdriver to push back a spring to remove and install the new rear slide cover. The clip attaches with two socket head screws, and the hex wrench is included with the clip. In use, the clip allows you to conceal the pistol almost completely inside the waistband of your pants. I find it to be much more comfortable that the inside the waistband holster I was using before. The only real drawbacks I find is that the clip runs along the slide, covering the serrations on one side. This makes racking the slide a little more difficult, and might be an issue if your hand was wet or slippery. A rough surface on the side of the clip would alleviate this issue. The other issue is that because it conceals the pistol so deeply in your waistband, drawing the gun is slower, which could be a problem in a self defense situation. I do believe that with practice, this could be overcome though. I have read other reviews that have complained about the rear slide cover being shorter than the Glock slide cover. Although it does leave a bit of a gap, it doesn't affect the performance of the firearm and is purely aesthetic.
