I have used both the wire and stick welding processes on this machine with impressive results. I don't know anything about TIG welding but plan to learn in the near future. The settings on the inside panel make selection of settings simple. I have a large Fourney welder that has been passed down from my grandfather, but it doesn't work well with anything smaller than 1/4" and only does stick welds.
