In fact i've bought 4 of these over the years just because i wanted friends and family to stop bugging me to play mine lol. The ps3 is a super reliable and super fun console. This model is my favorite because of its ability to play ps2 games since it has an entire ps2 motherboard inside of it to render the games. This model also has 4 usb ports an SD/Mini SD card slot, a compact flash card slot and a memory stick pro duo slot. It is worth mentioning that just because a ps3 is and 80gb model doesn't mean that is has any of the features previously mentioned. If you want an 80gb ps3 and you want to make sure its a backwards compatible system make sure the model number is CECHE01. Thats the only model i've ever owned so i know it does play ps1, ps2 and ps3 games as well as has all of the features i mentioned earlier. All ps3's are blu-ray players and if you have an HDTV blu-ray is the best way to go when watching movies at home the quality it is the best in the market today. All ps3's also have access to the playstation network where you can download games, movies, share photos with friends, play games online and voice/video chat FOR FREE.
