I just started in one corner and went on from there...so easy to screw them into the joists and then to screw to boards into (make sure you get the 18mm thick chipboards which are 1220 by 607(ish)...not the smaller tongue and groove loft boards which would mean you using so many more of the legs!). Easy peesy! :) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth every penny *by J***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 January 2021* Excellent item strong and sturdy easy to fit well worth the money tried to screw down by hand without doing pilot holes in legs first only did 7 and got blisters . So advise to you to drill pilot holes in legs first a pain i know but makes it so much easier and quicker to fit and use an electric screw driver, ensure you put screws in at an angle , I used 40ml length screws this was ample enough to hold strong, 4 screws per leg, my beams were 17inches apart and i used three legs per beam per 6ft x 2ft boards, that's putting edges of board half way on end legs to ensure you can fit another board flush and one leg in the middle of board for extra support, then screwed boards to top of legs, i used 18ml mdf boarding and its very safe to walk on I am a 60 year old women and managed to complete my loft on my own , would have been so much easier if i didn't need to lift and cut insulation and move stuff i had stored out of the way, DO USE A MASK ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Did the job perfectly *by D***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 September 2019* After adding some more insulation in my loft I needed to raise the floorboards up so as not to crush the new insulation. These loft legs were just the trick and proved quite easy to use, I simply used  Reisser Woodscrews  which are in themselves excellent, and screwed them down onto the joists.
