## Description

Slime activator containing BoraxDr Rick at Slime Labs here. We've spent hours making slime, it's just so gooey and fun! What we found was that the ingredients can be really expensive. Don't get me started on small 125ml bottles of Contact Eye Solution! By far and away the best activator was Borax solution, so we created our own special recipe, using the perfect ratios. We've packaged it up in a large 550ml bottle, so you can make dozens and dozens of slimes. Some activators are too strong, resulting in clumpy slime that is over activated (Kind of like my kids when they break into my sweet stash!). Our secret recipe works perfectly, and creates Non-Newtonian fluid (The scientific name for Slime!)Slime Lab's Slime activator is★Safe★★Non-Toxic★★Washable★★Makes the best Slime★★Comes in 550ml★★Great Value for money★How Does it work?Take a container (but not Mum's best serving dish. Trust me, she won't thank you!) Add PVA glue, clear or white (maybe some colour, glitter, shaving foam as well), Shake our bottle of activator for 20 to 30 seconds Add your own dance moves for the shaking if you want! Review: Works, after a fashion - Works pretty well. Used this with some translucent pva glue from the kids stationary shop on the high street and it took a few small measures to get working. We had added a bit of acrylic kids paint and along with it being see through glue that might be why it took a while to work. Needed a lot of stirring. I’m sure contact lens cleaning solution worked better 5 years back when we last made slime. Knocking off a point for the need to re-add and lots of stirring.
Review: Add shaving foam!!! - I was half expecting to get this and add to PVA and get slime ... well it wasn't as straight forward as that! I discovered by adding shaving foam it worked straight away! I spent the best part of 2 hours trying to add this, slowly, as per the instructions on the bottle, to 100ml of PVA glue. 8ml per 100ml did absolutely nothing at all. After adding a further 30ml still not much happened. My daughter wasn't happy, she was expecting instant slime (as all children probably will). It looked as though it was about to thicken up and go stringy but the more activator I added the less confidence I had. I abandoned this after using almost 50ml of activator. I was determined to make this work especially afer reading nothing but good reviews on desertcart. I found some videos on YouTube and shaving foam was mentioned a few times. I tried the shaving foam and as if by magic it suddenly worked! I repeated the process starting with shaving foam and PVA together, mixed them thoroughly. I then added the activator in a single cap full, mixed it well and boom it was instant slime! It is rather a wet slime so maybe I need to tweak how much activator to add - would be nice if there were further instructions. Not sure how others have had success, whether they used shaving foam or not or perhaps my PVA wasn't 'PVA' enough (I used Everbuild universal PVA Bond) or maybe the activator itself is from a dickie batch. Who knows. I'm writing this review to potentially warn others - it does work, but it may not work the way it is advertised. Best to experiment - it's what kids love best!

The BEST and EASIEST slime activator I have ever used. No need to mix anything just open up the bottle and add to glue. It’s amazing and doesn’t need a lot to activate a lot of slime. Will be buying again when I run out and 10000000% recommend to anyone who wants a slime activator.
