If you are confused as to what size hoses you need I will try to explain. If your Power Poles have silver push lock style fittings you will need 1/4 hoses. If your Power Poles have brass compression style fittings you will need 5/16 hoses. I would not try to measure inner or outer diameters of your current Power Pole hoses in order to figure out what size hose to purchase. They are sold separately. **Q: Is this the hose made by the manufacturer with the “Power Pole” writing on it that is a direct replacement from power pole?** A: No. It doesn't work. You want to call Power Pole and get the upgrade kit. Haven't had any blowouts since **Q: Can I replace brass fitting and 5/16” tubing with 1/4” tubing and fitting on power pole?** A: Not something I would suggest... The 1/4 hoses and fittings will NOT support the pressures of the pump. There is a reason why Power Pole upgraded the hoses from 1/4 to the larger and thicker 5/16 lines...
