Very well set up on arrival: the action is smooth and easy, the strings symmetrically spaced and the nut set just right. Arrived was roughly tuned within an octave; fine tuned it with the onboard tuner and it sounds great! Next day, only minor retuning required. I also have the Yamaha APX 700 six string, and this twelve string’s neck is even more comfortable, plus the concert-style body is very comfortable to sit and play. Still working on perfect fingertip placement for clean dual notes, but the adaptation is easier than I’d expected. The strings are fairly light and the action low enough that there’s little extra stress.
