They are doing well. I have three in an antique ceramic planter I got from my grandmother. it's a dog with a mailbox, the mail box is the planter (looks like it was from a florist many years ago). I filled it with styrofoam peanuts and added glass discs from the dollar store and put the plants on top of that. The other two I have in a shallow planter (1 inch deep) shaped like a lily pad with a frog on it. I filled it with little stones and put the plants on top of the stones, that is in my bathroom. All doing well, very delicate looking too. I have other air plants I bought several years ago from this company directly and they are doing well. I have other air plants & there is NO CARE. But after I got them I read the instructions which was the following: "To care for these plants, simply saturate them with water once or twice a week and allow them to dry before returning them to their containers. Supplement with fertilizer a few times per year."
