Review: Beautiful dress! - Bought this at the last minute for a semi-formal work event. This really came in clutch! I'm 5'1, 130-135lb, broad shoulders, inverted triangle, 36C and I bought a medium. It fit like a glove! It is form fitting and I felt like I was wearing spanx. It made me look like I had an hourglass figure! The material is not cheap feeling - it's heavy and thick. The length was great and my two inch heels allowed it to just graze the floor. The slit isn't too high, but I'd be careful while sitting down. The neckline is relatively modest while still being sexy it also makes the "girls" look perky. I bought the purple color by mistake thinking it was black (last minute panic purchase!) but I'm happy with it. It's a deep purple that was appropriate for my event. So overall, this dress was absolutely perfect for me! I think if you're a curvy lady you'd need to get a bigger than usual size
