This Lamicall mount feels noticeably more solid. The metal hook design is probably my favorite part because it gives the mount a much more secure attachment to the vent compared with the simple clip-style mounts I’ve used before. Once tightened properly, it stays in position and doesn’t constantly need to be readjusted. The wider phone clamp is also useful if you have a larger phone or use a thicker protective case. The grip feels firm without making it difficult to insert or remove the phone. During normal driving, including turns and rougher roads, I’ve noticed very little movement. Adjustment is straightforward, and I can position the phone at a comfortable angle for GPS without blocking too much of the vent or dashboard. The mechanism also feels sturdy when adjusting it instead of loose or cheaply made. One thing I would recommend is taking a minute during installation to make sure the hook is properly positioned behind the vent blade before tightening it. Once installed correctly, the difference in stability is noticeable. Overall, this feels like a well-designed upgrade over cheaper vent mounts. The combination of the metal hook, wider clamp, and solid adjustment mechanism makes it especially practical for larger phones and everyday navigation. Review: The best phone holder I have yet to purchase. Highly recommend! - The best purchase I have ever made for a hands-free phone holder! I deliver for Instacart and am in and out of my vehicle a lot. I also use maps with every delivery and find the Lamicall very easy to put my phone into the holder, plug my iPhone in to charge as I am driving, which provides great visibility of the map as I have it installed in the vent at eye level, and the best part is that it is not visible to other drivers when I have to use the keypad or click on the map (I know all vehicles have a different vent set-up but for me, this product helps me be more discreet when using it as I am driving, which is very little but necessary). It grips the phone and holds it into place, it has an easy release button on the back, it is adjustable, fits tight into your air vent, doesn't take up much space, easy installment, great quality, and the value is great. ## Features - Improved Stability with 4-Lock Protection: The Lamicall holder for cell phone in vehicle features an innovative 4-lock protection and is compatible with both vertical and horizontal car air vents, ensuring excellent stability even during sharp turns or bumpy roads. Note: Hook extension range 10 mm-29 mm. The thickness of the vent blade is less than 4.2 mm. Not suitable for Round Vent. - Thick Case Compatible: With upgraded arms which provide a wider grip and a fully adjustable foot, this phone mount for car vent clip is suitable for thicker cases, wallet cases or battery cases. The ultra-thick silicone back layer ensures a scratch-free experience for your device! - Pretty-Design & High-Quality: The holder panel is made of soft silicone material which is anti-wear, effectively protecting the back of the phone. PC+ABS Material with better heat resistance, which is endurable for the extreme temperature of -4°F-194°F. - 360-Degree Rotation: Unlike similar products on the market, this cell phone car holder gives you the best viewing angle no matter your needs, providing a 360-degree fully rotative design great for navigation, changing playlists, taking calls and more. - Hassle-Free Installation: Say goodbye to complicated systems that take up your time and energy! Our cell phone automobile cradles are easy to install in a matter of seconds, requiring only 2 simple steps! - Enhanced Compatibility: The Lamicall mobile holder for car was designed to fit any smartphone size ranging from 4.7” to 6.8”. I did have a little bit of trouble getting the ball into the socket. You just have to push a little bit harder. And I have a bigger phone, and this phone holder accommodated the room. It's very easy to use. And the mounting was very easy to figure out. The grip on the product is very strong. Most of my driving is over rough road, and it stayed put the entire time. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/701750624-2026-wider-clamp-and-metal-hook-car-phone-holder-vent](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/701750624-2026-wider-clamp-and-metal-hook-car-phone-holder-vent) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-07*
