The internet echo-chamber is 80% wrong on this point because unknowledgeable people don’t know the difference and use the terms interchangeably. Cell balancing is always done by the BMS, so check your battery app. Battery balancing is at battery level, and only when there are >= 2 12volt batteries in series. - Brought it because it was blue? Its good protection to extend the life of lifepo4’s by avoiding over-charge and over-discharge. You batteries will live years longer and not swell up/degrade as fast due to over-charging. - Lights never come on? You’re not charging at the correct voltage. - Green light always on?
