I followed the size chart and purchased a small and it fit perfectly (for reference I am 5'6, 135 pounds, size 27 in pants). It also came with another set of hooks to make it larger if needed but I didn't need them. It starts right below my chest and goes below my belly button. I bought a medium expecting it to be on the smaller side on me, since I have quite a bit of tummy fat. turns out I probably could have gone for a small. I'm on the last row of hooks and I just barely put it on, so chances are if this does do what it's supposed to and I do lose weight, I won't have it for very long. Aside from that it's comfortable and breathable. I wear a lot of baggy clothing to hide my weight so I don't know what it looks like under tighter clothing yet. Might post pictures later. Overall I guess it's okay.
