The box was a little smushed so I was concerned about what I'd find inside. However, all the trees were in great shape. The pots were wrapped in cellophane so as to keep the soil and plant food inside the pot. The plants were laid horizontally, in a thoughtful manner, so there was no problem with the box being out of shape (meaning the plants wouldn't have gotten broken).My wife and I had them all planted in about an hour. The tree size was as promised in the picture, and the root balls were very nicely developed. There were signs of new growth on the trees as well, which is a good sign.
