I purchased this product to have on the go. This product was nice in that it folded up nicely to fit in my fishing bag. However, that’s where it ends. I have only used this net 2-3 times maybe and as I was reaching for a small 2 pound fish, the fish smacked the net and it snapped where the net connects to the pole (not repairable). Not durable at all. If you are trying to only haul in bluegill or goldfish, this net might be for you. I thought it would be the size of a normal butterfly net, but it's bigger. I love that it folds up. The net doesn't come with instructions on how to fold it back up once you open it, but there are instructions on the Amazon product page. I bought it for catching crabs. The net feels like it has a coating on it so it doesn't stick to itself or become all droopy when you get it wet.
