It was so easy to put up and we absolutely loved it. Spent the whole weekend in it. You would think the black fabric would heat up, but when I was laying in the direct sunlight, I was so nice and cool laying in there. We also loved the way that the fabric comes up around the sides when you are laying in it. Kept us away from all of the mosquitoes and was a nice shade from the sun. It looked like a good deal and I added it to my cart. This is a light-weight, generously proportioned hammock that has some exceptional possibilities. I bought the orange/black version because of the inclusion of eco-friendly tree straps. They were even better that I expected with a quick-slip cinch feature and multiple integrated loops that make for very easy adjustments depending on the distance between trees and the diameter of the trees. When combined with the included heavy-duty carabiners, it really does take only about a minute to set up with subsequent tension adjustments being (quite literally) a snap. The conversion from hammock to tarp/shelter and back to hammock was simple, straightforward, and easy. I haven't tested the waterproof promise, but that would just be an extra cherry on top of the cream on top of an already excellent product. I have Hennessy tent hammocks for serious backpacking as well as some generic lounging hammocks for fair weather. This hammock offers something considerably better than the big box generic hammocks for about the same price. I'll be using this around the house and for campground camping, and it definitely belongs in my go-bag.
