Physical therapy has been good, but I was looking for something to help me as I walked throughout the day or sitting down, watching a movie. I ordered this. When it arrived, I opened it and quickly fell in love with it. The wrist band itself is nice, soft and doesn't agitate my incision area on my wrist. The bands are not super strong, but neither are rubber bands. Overall, the wrist piece is very well made and easy to assemble the bands on it. It is lightweight yet works wonderfully. I do a few repetitions as directed by my physical therapist - I substitute this for the actual rubber bands she recommended. I will be showing this produce to her and recommending it to her as well. I was a bit leery about the price when I ordered it, but in the end, I am very satisfied. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Helped me heal hand flexor tendonitis *by B***B on July 28, 2021* This helped me heal tendonitis in my palm and it really is great for stretching and flexing and doing eccentric (reverse) exercises. The downside is that two of the bands broke with normal use within 4 weeks. They do give you a couple of spares. Other than that it looks and feels nice. If you buy this, just expect a temporary product that might last for a few months and many need to be replaced. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Helps Re-Strengthen Hands & Wrists *by C***B on August 20, 2018* Why is it women seem to lose hand strength after we leave our early 20s, and it just keeps going downhill from there? Don’t tell me I’m the only one to notice this. As a kid I thought I was so awesome always opening the jars and bottles my mom couldn’t. ‘*Pshhh* you don’t need Dad!’ And she even worked with her hands as a hair stylist for a while, so she was keeping them exercised.I never thought I’d run into those same issues. But apparently 20 years of full time work using mostly mouse & keyboard took its toll. Shocker.Combine that with overuse injuries from crazy projects around the house (think full body weight on hands and knees scrubbing and using a palm sander to refinish Saltillo Floor tiles many hours a day over 4 weeks), and I was messed up.My wrist was aching, pinky tingling, barely able to swivel my hand or hold onto the edge of a paper plate with food. This was off and on for a couple of months, slowly recovering & reinjuring. Until I was testing mobility one day and made a fist, then fully extended and splayed all fingers and thumbs straight out. It felt amazing! I did it again a few times, then jumped on Amazon to find a hand exerciser!This thing is great. It’s not meant to really build super hand strength, use the squeezy type models for that. But this exerciser is great at rehabilitating weak muscles on the outside of the hand and the wrist. And because of the way it’s designed, it really helps strengthen the stabilizer muscles as well.I haven’t even been consistent with it, but my wrist hasn’t relapsed, and is stronger and feels less fragile than it has in a long time.Love this little exerciser, I’m just not looking forward to replacing the little rubber bands as they start to break down.
