I have scars on my arms that I prefer to cover. I also have a sensitivity to the sun and heat.I bought these to over my scars but to be cooler than a long sleeved shirt or jacket. They are almost perfect.They're much cooler than a windbreaker, especially if there's even a slight breeze. They do soak up the sun a little but anything black does. If you want all cooling I'd get white ones. They're super soft, comfortable and well stitched. I especially like the fact that I can use them like sleeves or with my thumb in the hole.I have bigger/longer arms than a normal woman they stretched out a little. I'm male, but there are many sleeves advertised as women's that will work also for males. These are one of them. I like how comfortable they are. They are not tight at all. I have small arms or biceps and the sleeves do slide down just a bit as wearing them. My only complaint though is the finger holes. They are two different sizes. One fits and the other is way too small for my thumb to fit through all the way. I will have to open up the seam a little to fix the problem, but mostly I wear them without the glove part so it may not even matter. Overall I think it's a simply made product. Just material wrapped around and sewn together. I also love gardening and I normally just use long sleeve shirts and sometimes compression sleeves that can definitely affect arm circulation. These arm sleeves are perfect, they are not tight at all and it does not roll down. I definitely recommmend this product for any outdoor activities and plus, it arrived within 2 days of ordering, awesome!
