I just really liked the design of them. If you hold them up to the light, they're translucent as well and take on a bit brighter of a blue which makes them look amazing. I haven't put them through rigorous testing or anything, but from what I can tell, they roll just as well as my other dice and don't particularly favor anything. The paint on them is well done and they're definitely high quality.
