Review: Worthy upgrade for your Crosman pistol. - OK, Here is the skinny on the Clevercraft scope mount...Is it expensive? Yes, The rail is a Monstrum rail and that drives up cost but It's a great rail, The actual mount is good quality and fits solidly, It will hold zero very well since the mount is rock solid...Honestly I think the pistol should come standard with a similar mount since it's a feature we expect nowadays, Furthermore my front sight came canted so this mount was a necessity for my pistol and I'm very happy with it. The red dot looks good on it and a pistol scope would look even better, It would give a cool Star Wars-esque look to it...So if they had a muzzle break for this pistol it would be even better haha! If you want a high quality mount for your beloved 1377 or 1322 look no further, Buy this if you can afford it, I don't think you will regret it... Another poster stated the English was poor...It was readable and I got the general idea, While I'd recommend a rewrite it, I still think it was easy enough to install with the provided instructions, A little common sense goes a long way.

**Q: What is the scope in the picture**
A: I am not sure what the scope is.  I used inexpensive red dot scopes from Amazon.  They are around $20 each for the scope.

**Q: Although designed for plstic breech can it still be used on 1322 metal upgraded bree h?**
A: I believe the mount only works with the original plastic breech. Dan R's review of Sept 12, 2018 addresses this point. The plastic breech does not come with a rail to mount optics whereas the steel breech has an integrated dovetail. If you want the picatinny option, Amazon sells many dovetail to picatinny conversions--they are inexpensive and work great on other guns. I do not own a steel breech 1322 pistol so cannot say how they would work on it. I love the Clevercraft mount on my standard plastic breech model. It's very solid, easy to install, and well worth the investment. You do lose the rear sight when you install it.

**Q: Will a Center Point Scope model #72004 fit on this rail?**
A: Yes, it's a function of the scope rings being of a Picatinny Rail type (22 mm).  Looking at the Walmart add for the scope & rings, I'd say "yes".

**Q: The mount uses the rear sight screw.... How does the front of the mount fasten to the barrel?  Other screws??**
A: Two small set screws.

If you buy this scope mount for your Crossman 1322 or 1377, you’ll be happy. It is easy to install and gives a very stable Picatinny rail platform for your pistol. I have had the lousy mounts that Crossman makes and they are not good—inexpensive but unstable—read the reviews. These are not cheap—cost half the price of the gun—but if you want a good solid unit, this is the thing to buy. I am amazed that Pyramyd Air does not carry them. It took 10 days to get but that could’ve been because of the snow and ice problem they had in the Seattle area at the time. They were well worth the wait—comes with all the tools you’ll need to install—including a barrel set screw. I have a red dot scope mounted and it looks great.
