The description specifies the carabiner has a max load of 2697 pounds. This cannot be right as that would lift a car.** A: Believe it or not, the 4 black ones are rated for 12kn. The other 8 are Keychain type only. I wouldn't trust them for personnel safety but great for attaching gear and tools while climbing. These are the cheapest I found on Amazon. You get 4 rated carabines and 8 extra novelty ones cheaper than just buying 4 12kn rated carabiners.
