Great size, easy to put lid on and remove. You've got plenty of room if you have a tea that really swells, or just want an extra strong tea. The only 2 negatives are: 1. It might be user error, but it seems to flip upside down and then unhook itself from the cup. Not a big deal. 2. Definitely user error, but if you let the tea leaves dry in there (depending on the tea), it's very difficult to remove it all. Left my hibiscus tea in there and went on vacation. I had to soak it quite a while to get it all out. Oops! Other than that, both the filter and the cute little tray to set it on are easy to clean and use.
