Its outside is sturdy for sure and the snap is secure. It takes a bit to get used to opening the layers up, otherwise, the top layer will dump. It didn't take long to get the hang of it. The ONLY complaint I have is that the brand name is on the top (albeit nicely written and placed). I would rather it just be plain.
