There were so many sets that I was able to replace the laces on everyone in the families shoes. They work great. We have not had any problems with them breaking.My daughter asked for help with her shoes. She has Asperger's and while she can tie and untie her shoes it is not easy. She was having difficulty her first year at middle school with her shoes during gym. I found this product and it not only fixed that problem, it also solved the ten minutes it took to get shoes on in the morning.The only potentially negative is that the little plastic colors in the middle of the bands may fall out. Honestly, this is not a negative to me because I am not a huge fan of them. They are hard to install if you have arthritis (reason why I purchased these to begin with). I had to have someone else install them for me. I don't want to keep bugging people I know and I have 4 more pairs of shoes I need to have these installed on.
