Review: Building the WALL! - First I'm going to say that I deliberately ordered these from Shadyacres. 150+ of these arrived on a 24° day in a large flat rate box. Inside the box were several bundles on 9" cuttings, wrapped in moist paper towels and double bagged with 4 rubber bands to lock the moisture in, they successfully survived the freezing trip. I acquired 8 large vases (should have used 10), divided them up and place them in the window sill in 6" of spring water (NOT TAP) for a week. At the end of the first week every single cutting sprouted leaves and 3-20 2" roots, today I transplanted all of them to 150 18oz red solo cups (knifed the bottoms for drainage). Potting took 6 bags of potting soil (NOT potting MIX). Hung two 75w grow LEDs to help with the low light of the basement for the next few weeks, it wont be reliably above freezing till mid May, once its warm I will plant and cage them for the first year. So far, super impressed, every single plant took through the rooting phase, I will update as they grow. Update 4-21-19: 10 day time lapse added, on day 8 and 9 of being potted, they REALLY started to take off Update 4-26-19: Incredible, some of them are a 6" or more tall from the soil and bushy (12"+ overall), they are spread wider than the cups they are potted in. Every single one is still alive and thriving. The last 10 out of the 160 were badly damaged (due to packing too tight in the vases), they were sacrificed in order to pot the rest, after a few more days soaking they rooted again. After potting and a light mix of 'all purpose miracle grow' and soil soak treatment, they are as healthy and tall as the rest, truly amazing. I'm keeping the soil as damp as possible, as soon as I see dryness, they get watered. The basement is a pretty consistent 62°, if I could get them warmer they would take off much faster, but since my basement already looks like a full blown grow. I'm just going to wait for warmer weather, shooting for memorial day or sooner. Update 4-28-19: New photo added. Reorganized the grow area, added fan, heat and plastic walled off the area to trap the heat. It looks like a MJ grow and would work for it, but its just my happy little trees. Lights now set to 19h on, 5 off. Update 5-4-19: It's Starwars day, noticed some leaves falling off and tip burn due to lack of light, normal process so don't worry just keep wateering and add more light. I added 60 more watts of white (2x 4ft shop) LEDs from Walmart, leaf and branch development increased, color improved. Update 5-19-19: Brought them all up outside to start to acclimate to the weather, the last frost warning has passed for the season and I will be planting on memorial weekend. It has been the longest, hardest, coldest winter and just as bad of a spring, worst I can remember in my adult life... Update 5-25-19: All of them are still alive and thriving. Planted and soaked, they all survived the first night and looked healthy in the morning. Really looking forward to them blocking the view of the highway and keeping unwanteds out of my yard. Added root system photo, this is 7 weeks and 4 days of growth. At 8 weeks I would suggest planting but any longer than 10 weeks and they will probably get root bound (in an 18oz solo cup at least), so plan your order date about 8 weeks in advance of your plant date if you live in a cold climate. Every single plant survived, every one planted. Impressed. Update 6-28-19: 33 days later tallest tree is 31", growing 1/2" per day in NW MN, pic added.
Review: I received these trees end of March, I sprouted ... - I received these trees end of March, I sprouted them in a pitcher and in weeks I was overwhelmed, they sprouted leaves and roots. I Then potted them and for two weeks they continued to mature they were awsome. I set up two rows 125 drip line and planted them after i had se them out for a week to harden off. I was very proud or my trees. I seft them all out on a Saturday, on Suday the grasshoppers newley hatched had a feast. A week later there is not a leaf left. Depression. I just orderd 50 ; more these trees did awsome until the bugs did them in. Hope I am betterf prepared the next go around.

### ⭐ Most are dead
*by C***S on May 26, 2019*

Nice cuttings received. All instructions followed. Drip hose, and automatic daily watering even though super wet spring. 3 plants are still alive. Admittedly they don’t all get 10 hours of sun, but they get enough to live.
