I really loved the look of these pendants with the brushed nickel base. However, I assumed the cord would be metallic, white or transparent so that it would go with the brushed nickel. The first picture made me think that was true. If I had looked more carefully at the other photos, I would have noticed the black cords. I love the lights but I'm very disappointed with the black cords.
