Review: It functions, but didn't exceed expectations - I have a vintage copper pot I like to use for candy making, but I'd been unable to use it on our induction cooktop normally. This steel plate allows me to use my beloved pot again and take advantage of the control that induction heating provides. The time it takes to get up to temp is less than ideal, but when it gets there, it holds reliably. The product does its job. Now that I think about it, I really could've used one of my carbon steel or cast iron pans underneath, although it would be even more inefficient.

Worked fine for a while. Saw it starting to discolor. Thought it was nothing. Then it split open and now won’t heat up efficiently
