Incrediply deep and thoughtfull. Fairy tales and myths as background for a very topical thinking. I learned a lot from this audio-casette. Another piece by Pincola Estés that is absolutely worth to read/hear to. You will find how old Indian myths could help us to understand our everyday lives. Mrs. Pinkola Estés deals with women particularly in their books - Boy who married and eagle is one of very few pieces told by her devoted to men's psyche.

Amazon's description of this product is very misleading. I thought I was ordering a collection of coming of age stories for boys. Not so! I found it to be deeply disturbing myself, never mind my 13 yr. old son. This might be of interest to a college-level student studying myths and folklore.
