As the weather started to get warmer this spring, I decided to find some capri leggings so I could wear them with sandals or flats. After some searching, I discovered these capris and liked the price so I ordered the black ones, since I like to play it safe.These capri leggings are very soft to the touch and have that smooth, "buttery" feeling that a lot of leggings have. These particular leggings come in a variety of size ranges so you will want to select the appropriate size and there are many solid colors to choose from. These capris are made of 92% polyester and 8% spandex and are made in China. Washing instructions say to hand wash cold and lay flat to dry. I never hand wash anything and instead put hand wash items in lingerie bags in the washing machine and then hang them up to dry. I've never had a problem with any of my clothes getting damaged.For size purposes, I am 5'6", 165 pounds with a bit of a belly left over from my twin pregnancy and generally wear a 10 or 12 in pants and skirts. I purchased the size large in these, which fits sizes 4 to 12 and they fit me perfectly! These aren't compression leggings so they might not slim down any areas you are self-conscious of but purchasing a dark color should help a little bit with that. I have average legs and these leggings come down to my mid-calf area. There is plenty of stretch and I feel comfortable wearing these. I like to wear them with long tunic tops, my denim jacket and flats and love the look! They are comfortable to wear to church, while running errands, and I even wore them under a long dress when I didn't want my thighs rubbing together. When I looked in the mirror, I couldn't even tell I was wearing the leggings. Sometimes when I'm putting them on, I'm afraid they will rip but I try not to pull on them too much unless it's gently and they haven't ripped so far.Overall, I like these leggings and feel they are a good price for decent-quality capri leggings. I like that they come in a variety of colors, even though I tend to stick with my black and charcoal gray and I wear colorful tops to go with them. They are fairly comfortable but I wouldn't suggest wearing them in hot weather, especially if you get hot easily anyway. I can't compare them to more expensive leggings but these seem to be a good alternative and they've held up nicely over the two months I've had them. I like to wear them for both dressy and casual events and love having that flexibility. If you are looking for an inexpensive brand of capri leggings for spring and summer, I recommend these! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars My Second Purchase, Perfect Leggings & Awesome Price! *by L***N on Reviewed in the United States on November 4, 2016* So this is my second purchase of the VIV leggings in the past 2 weeks. I first purchased the Aztec Lavender and now have purchased the basic Black to see if the solids were different than the prints. I was totally dazzled with the printed leggings and cannot say enough good things about them. I received (and am currently wearing) the Black leggings right now and must say....they are just as soft, just "springy" (good stretch, no sag) and just as comfortable....but the sizing seems a good bit smaller and tighter. The printed pair has more stretch and these are a bit shorter on overall length as well as tighter. The material seems slightly different (but barely notable). The only issue I had with these compared to the Aztec Lavender (which I'm in love with) is that these had the official VIV tag on the outside....but NO tag on the inside. It didn't appear to be removed, but I can't say I'm thrilled that there's no stamping/tag so that I know I'm ordering the same product. The Aztec pair had a tag inside as well as outside.I am guessing that there are slight differences in the way the solid vs printed leggings are manufactured and maybe that's why I'm finding these differences. I only removed a star because I think putting no tag inside will make customers question what they're getting from the seller compared to the other pairs that should all have the same tag.But the bottom line is that I also really love the Black leggings. The sizing is shorter and tighter so beware! If you're a bit larger these could easy get too tight (unlike the printed versions) and you may not see a tag inside. However, the amazing softness, good quality, solid fit, and appropriate length are all there. These feel just like the printed pair except for the sizing variation. They ARE Opaque, which is great because I don't always wear longer tops with leggings and sometimes have some "butt" showing. These have a nice spring to them and never become saggy or baggy.I've washed both pairs I own (I don't hand wash them) by using the Cold Wash and putting them in a "delicates" laundry bag and they came out just fine. I didn't lose any color or fit by washing them in the machine, but I definitely wouldn't put them in the dryer as that would be sure to ruin them fasts. I just toss mine over the line...they dry quickly and back to their original shape. I love this brand of leggings and have a long list of patterns and colors I intend to purchase....but PLEASE solve this problem with "no tag/tag removed/some have a tag" to get your 5th Star back!
