There’s a lot of products out there that are labeled ajika but this is the type that I grew up with. I used it to marinate chicken and mixed it with butter to spread on toast. We all know what chilli tastes like and likewise this sauce can be adjusted to taste and a little goes a long way. So I have used very little and mixed it with a couple of tablespoons of vegetable stock to give my ratatouille a shot in the arm. I also diluted it with with chicken stock and used it with yogurt and tomatoe purΓ©e in a Turkish recipe.
