Still, more time (12 -24 more wks) is needed before I get to full strength. The knee support is jut that, a support! I found it helped with regular movement during the day on the job site. But, I also found its support was limited with anything beyond walking on a level surface. Give you an idea, my steel toed work boots weigh about 2 lbs (almost a kilo) each which can cause extra stress on the knee when the foot swings, i.e., my walking has to be under control. At home with tennis shoes it was easier, I could walk up and down trails or hillsides as long as my center of gravity was controlled. I could not swing a sledge hammer or splitting maul, the change in center of mass, body twisting, and weight shifting was way beyond the support of the knee brace and the knee was stressed. What it comes down to is the knee support will allow you to walk and do simple physical work as long a you have complete control of your body, and to allow the knee to heal. Tendon, ligaments, and cartilage take a long time to heal, give it time. If you feel the slightest pain immediately back off what you are doing, you will cause more damage if you stress it. Don't push it or hide it by taking pain meds, let the pain tell you if your over doing it and you need to back off a couple of days. Diese sind jedoch mit der Zeit an den Scharnieren gebrochen oder haben durch den Klettverschluss eingeschnitten. Diese hier ist sehr hochwertig verarbeitet und sitzt sehr bequem. Durch meine dickeren Waden etwas schwer abzuziehen nach dem schwitzen obwohl sie die richtige Größe hat. Aber bisher unterstütz sie super und ich laufe beschwerdefrei meine Strecken ab.
