The case was more compact than I expected, especially the top section. When I received it in the mail as a flat package, I realized right away it wasn't going to be as sturdy as I thought either. Based on the picture, I was expecting the case to have firmer sides. But the bottom section is soft and floppy and does not stand up well on its own and once the top has brushes inserted, it became top heavy. Bottles in the bottom will not stay upright with the lid down. I also found that most of my brushes with thicker handles did not fit in the top slots for the brushes. While it might be okay for travel with a light load of makeup, it's a bit clumsy for daily use on a countertop. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great quality! *by S***I on July 20, 2017*  It was frustrating looking for a good makeup bag due to the lack of videos and photos by customers, thankfully this one had some. It arrived exactly as described, with a nice top zippered packet to store brushes individually. It's deeper than I anticipated. There's plenty of room to store items--great. I'd give it between 3 and 4 stars, but it's not for me. I returned it bc it's not that sturdy. The sides are collapsible so, if nothing is inside it, it lies almost flat. That might be a selling point to some, but I wanted a bag that had more sturdy construction--that would hold its shape even if empty. I also felt that because the large zippered bottom section is so deep and there are no compartments, items would shift easily.
